"Fantastic view on the tea plantations from the room. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. They communicate in English through WhatsApp and answer any question you may have, even before you are there. Note the B&B is NOT in the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, but more like a 45-min drive away. It worked out great for us, but it may be a bit far if you're considering waking up for the sunrise at Alishan."

"Some minor details: 1- Noise insulation is not the best and the staff is aware (signs asking you to keep the volume down after 9pm and if you wake up early for the sunrise). Sadly for us, other guests staying there were just noisy and liked listening to music while showering at 7am, so nothing the owner could really do and I guess it depends on your luck 2- The duvet was too short for 2 people!"

"The receptionist was so lovely and helpful. Great donuts and amazing Taiwanese breakfast. Bed was comfy, room was compact and cozy. There were good local mountain walks nearby, and the “lunch box” place was amazing."

"The bathroom wasn’t great. Hot water hardly worked and there wasn’t much water pressure."

"The room was pretty basic but clean and big enough. The location is amazing, right in the middle of tea plantations and close to many hikes you can do in the area. The host is super friendly; even if she speaks little english, she invited us and the other guests for a tea and a chat all together."

"Sehr saubere Unterkunft direkt in der Teeplantage. Die Host-Familie ist sehr nett und hat uns auf zwei kostenlose Tee-Verköstigungen eingeladen. Ausserdem wurden wir zur Bushaltestelle in den Ort gefahren. Falls man dort Abendessen möchte, hätte er uns ebenfalls gefahren. Von der Unterkunft ist man direkt bei den verschiedenen Trails / Hikes der Umgebung."

"Great location, lovely outside area to watch the sunset, very helpful owners. Perfect for budget travelling! Had a dehumidifier so we could hang wet hiking gear overnight too."

"The owner aunty is so cute . She does not understand a word of english but everytime i came in and left the house , she kept giving me so many donuts and apples ,she fed me a bento lunch and gave me so many gifts .. i could not believe her hospitality . There was a hearty breakfast every day and she even washed my clothes for me . It almost made me sad to not know chinese to communicate with her . She is so so nice . Also the view of the mountains from my room was breathtaking"

"The property is in fenqihu . And fenqihu is not very well connected . There are 1 or 2 buses that come or leave from alishan or chiyai and if you miss one of them .. it can be really troublesome . The property in itself is almost flawless"
