Beds were comfortable and we were grateful that the entire cabin was screened in (vs some lodges that only provide mosquito netting around the beds). This meant we could enjoy the room, take a shower, etc, without fear of becoming a meal for the bugs."

"One of the jungle tours is just too long: 6am to 1.30pm and over 10km distance without food other than snacks scrounged from breakfast is not good enough at this price point. It is also unfortunate that they encourage hand-feeding of the monkeys on their monkey island. This practice should stop."

"Ecoamazonia is a dream. My partner and I researched several lodges and we are so happy to have picked Ecoamazonia. From the time we landed from the airport to the time we were dropped off we felt completely taken care of! The entire staff at the lodge are attentive, hardworking, and so quick to help. The grounds are beautiful and maintained. You are pretty deep into the jungle and there is nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of birds and other animals. Truly a dream! Our tour guide was David and we feel so lucky to have met and learned from him. David has a real passion, love, and respect for the jungle. He showed us many animals, birds, insects, trees, plants, etc! Visiting Ecoamazonia and meeting David was one of the highlights of our entire vacation in Peru! I cannot recommend this place enough if you're looking for the true jungle experience!"

"Es war ein gutes Rundum-Paket, mit Transport mit Bus und Boot vom Flughafen zur Lodge, Vollpension und Wanderungen im Naturschutzgebiet. Es wurde vor allem auf das Tierwohl geachtet. "Eco" ist berechtigt."

"Die Information, wann was stattfindet gab es immer nur immer für die nächste Aktivität. Das Essen war gut, aber jedes zweite Essen wurde serviert, es gab keine Wahlmöglichkeit, vor allem für Vegetarier schwierig. Sobald man den letzten Happen gegessen hat, wurde der Teller weggenommen, man hatte immer das Gefühl, dass man schnellstmöglich fertig sein wollte. Der Rücktransport war sehr unflexibel, wir hatte 4 Stunden Aufenthalt in Puerto Maldonado, ein zusätzlicher Transport hätte 150 Dollar gekostet."
