"The room is small but has a private bathroom and everything is clean enough. Breakfast is simple but totally acceptable — you won’t go hungry. I recommend booking a room that doesn’t face the street: when tourist buses arrive late at night, people wait outside under the windows, which makes it hard to sleep. The staff could consider bringing them inside, for example into the dining area. A good option if you’re visiting Ålesund for 1–2 nights."

"due to the hotel being inside an actual school building the room did feel a bit.. clinical . but functionally it was a fine room."
