"1-Location 2- The room decor is wonderful, new, and has beautiful colors. 3- The breakfast is excellent, but some food and beverage sections need to be covered."
"1- The breakfast area would be nicer if it were replaced with a bar and lobby, or if it were located on the upper floors with a better view of the outside. 2- The buffet lacked honey, olive oil, and olives. 3- The room is somewhat small. 4- The towels are worn out. 5- The sink drain is squeezed and needs to be lifted. 6- The door lock doesn't work, and access is done by card only."
"Friendly staff, especially Janet on reception (great welcome, helpful information), and Ania in Polarbjorn restaurant (helpful, professional and fun). View from restaurant outstanding and breakfast is as wide-ranging and tasty as other reviews say. Some lovely touches around the hotel e.g. little jazz figure in reception. Hotel is part way up hil - helpful for getting to steps to viewpoint above Alesund."
"Room was too hot - we resorted to taking the duvets out of the covers and using them as cover sheets. Air conditioning didn't seem to make any difference. Main course portions in the restaurant were huge!! A little less would make such a difference to the enjoyment of food that was really tasty."
