"The location was perfect, if you want to see and experience Malta as it was and still is then Birgu is one of the places to do this. Easy transport by bus or water taxi to Valletta and from there anywhere you want or need to go by Malta Public Transport ( Bus ) Mark and Sacha have made No 17 so it suits all needs. Outstandingly clean and super beds.( matrasses )"

"O had been in a coma for two years A while ago this was my first trip alone This place to me was a little piece of heaven Open the door bread and veg come to you Walking distance like less than a minute to the square For me it was a little piece of paradise"

"Located on tiny street of lovely Birgu in a very old building just around the corner from a great square with cafes. Perfect. Very quiet apart from church bells and the odd car coming past. Close to everything you want to visit."

"On the first night we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. Our fault as we had opened windows before turning off the light."

"Comfortable beds and a clean room. Had everything you needed. Sacha and Mark are also lovely hosts and checked in on us during our stay."

"It's obvious that the toilet is separated from room 1 however, its not that obvious that the shower is IN the room about a meter away from the beds. Not the end of the world and didn't bother us but may be a problem for some others. Also no stove/cooker in the kitchen which would have been nice. Also not the quietest of places so if you're a light sleeper like me, definitely not the stay for you."

"Great location and facilities. Close to the centre of Birgu. We have friends in Birgu; we were within 5 minutes of their house. Communication with the hosts was easy; we had an issue with the operation of the ceiling fan, which was quickly resolved. Would stay there again and would highly recommend."
