Everything was perfectly arranged—from a tuk-tuk for the suburbs and a car to Kandy, to dinner restaurant recommendation. "Very welcoming and caring couple, comfortable and clean common areas and well appointed bedroom with clean private bathroom. A lovely dinner can be requested from the host and the breakfast was healthy and filling. The family was so kind and welcoming that they provided directions to the Dambulla Caves which were located close by, made suggestions for local restaurants and even offered for me to watch a cricket match with them as they knew I was interested! And the stay was incredibly good value for money! I will definitely be recommending the guesthouse to others coming to the Dambulla area."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
