"I want to talk about only one topic regarding my hotel stay. I want to talk about the towels in the bathroom. The towels are very large, very white, and very thick. They wrap the body with so much love. Yes, true love. It's a real home."

"I have enjoyed staying at The Diplomat for decades. This is hotel life as it should be, which is probably why I keep going back. I enjoy a quiet meal with my family by the pool and do like to indulge in delicious food from all over the world. The staff are always friendly and extremely polite."

"The location and the Taj standards that has been maintained inspite of it being a old property makes you feel nice and comfortable! The hospitality shown by their staff was a class above!!"

"The room and around fit to the explanation and pictures. Breakfast was basic and tasty. We came in October when season is over. The owner cook a dinner for us. It was quite expensive (30 euro par person taking a fish, 15 - with no fish), but tasty. Wine was exceptional. It was better then drive in the dark to the restaurant and back (the road is not easy even during the daylight). Adrian made the welcome. Very nice guy with good English. The owner, Vasko (sorry if a spell the name wrongly) is very nice guy. Able to speak Russian. Show us the winery. The wine is exceptional. Very quite place. The views are stunning."

The only one thing was not OK - in one of the rooms (we took 2) water in the shower drains poorly - floor was full of water.

"Location is great, and rooms are nice and bed is good. Only the bathroom was old fashioned in the old rooms."

The food in the restaurant is ok but not the best and the waiters are slow. The breakfast is very poor and it is better to eat outside at 100% Natural. The reception did no tell us about the yoga which we missed. Also that did not tell us that we should book the whale trip in advance because now it was sold out and we had to book a private trip.

No cell service in Philipsburg ... wifi in apartment but that didn't help with navigation - but figured navigating out fast enough.

"Walking distance / Near to the Taman Marzuki theather. Plenty of food nearby too."

Probably just the traffic and noises makes by vendor as the hotel is opposite the national library. Hence many youngsters hangout there everyday and worst is over the weekend.

Estavem a la sisena planta i a la nit feia molta calor. Vam tenir que dormir amb la finestra oberta de bat a bat al mes d’abril. La calefacció centralitzada no deixava graduar-la i encara estava programada a mode d’hivern.

"Food was ok, the staff was amazing and made you feel extremely welcome, this was the first time staying at this hotel, and I have just re-booked for next year. The hotel was quite, but had it lively time with live music. Enjoyed myself so much. Breakfast was lovely and so was dinner."

The lighting in the room could have been better.

Que no es pugui esmorzar a la Terrassa

"The bed was amazing, i slept well and that was the best part especially being jet lagged. The kids loved the breakfast spread so that was a plus. They really enjoyed their stay, im glad to have booked it and wouls definitely come again and recommend to friends."

No hot shower, which was inconvenient. Noisy installations that affected comfort (water pump, no well isolated for insects) The check-in process was a bit complicated, but since it's a family-run business, we were understanding.

The breakfast a bit poor

"Hotel molt ben situat, al costat de l’estació de tren. Tens cafetera. Personal molt amable."

Els coixins eren massa alts. En una de les habitacions sentiem soroll de aigua caient tota la nit.

Un po' troppo rumore notturno

"La situació, l'aire decadent antic europeu, els llits molt còmodes, el personal educat i amable i molt i molt l'esmorzar (diversitat i espai gran i còmode). El dia que vam anar a Cai Rang ens recollien a les 5 del matí i ens van preparar un esmorzar per emportar perfecte. Moltes gràcies."

Que demanin una fiança. Penso que no caldria. La banyera és molt alta i costa entrar i sortir si ets baixeta.

"Molt ben situat. A 5 minuts en cotxe de les Mantenga Falls. Zona molt tranquil.la. Amb un bon restaurant. Esmorzar molt complert i deliciós!"

En ser un hotel d’una certa categoria, potser hauria esperat més detalls de cortesia dintre de l’habitació, com ara alguna caixa de Kleenexs, botelles d’aigua…

"L'hotel està al costat d'una parada de bus, amb moltes línies i moltes destinacions, i al costat d'una estació de metro i a 100 metres d'una altra estació d'una altra línia. L'hotel, tot i que ja està una mica vell, és molt comfortable. Bona piscina. Personal amable."

Li tocaria una renovació

Shaky internet and the rooms abit small for the pricing.

Hi havia un forat al sostre de l'habitació 114. Una reparació mal acabada.
