We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

There isn't much privacy in the shower area

"We stayed in the private apartment a few blocks from La Comarca Hostel. It has everything you need - comfy double bed, an en suite with large shower, and a well equipped little kitchen with a stove, toaster, kettle. The whole vibe was very stylish, modern and clean. All the staff were lovely!! I said it was my partners birthday before arrival and they had put up balloons and little treats for us! Although we didn’t stay in the main hostel, it had a warm vibe when we dropped by and we were allowed to leave our bikes down the side of the hostel for a few nights while hiking. Overall, highly recommend!"

Rooms very very basic and had a mould issue. But other than that was okay. We didn’t have bed bugs in our room, but we met other backpackers in the dorm beds that said they did have them…

"Perfecte. Situat al centre. Difícil el parking, pregunteu abans al hostel on pots fer-ho, si no hauràs de pagar una bona tarifa. És tal qual es veu a les fotos. És tot nou i està molt net. Bona atmosfera i ambient. Propietaris molt amables. Va ser una estada curta però ens vam sentir com a casa. Repetiríem sense dubtar i el recomanarem."

"Amazing hostel, nice location and there are always a lot of travellers passing by. If you are planning to go to the seven lakes it’s very likely you’ll find other people so you can share a car to the lakes, stay overnight at the guesthouse. The hostel also lets you leave your things if you’re leaving and then come back."

"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"

The bedroom I stayed in didn't have a lock that worked on the door, which was a bit concerning. I don't love that.

"Location, price, staff. The location is perfect - it is city center and moreover, located in old city of Baku. Easy access to the museums and downtown. Staff is helpful, can advice in any matter. Metro station is very close."

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"The hostel is in the heart of Antwerp, it’s walkable distance from anywhere. We got access to our room very early which was a nice surprise. Our beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were alright. I liked the decor. Our stay came with a free breakfast, which was absolutely lovely. As fas as hostels go, this was a very pleasant experience."

My only gripe was again the location. Being that the hostel is in the very center, there was a lot of noise outside until the early hours of the morning. Again, not the hostel’s fault, just something to keep in mind.

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Welcoming host, good condition of the rooms and bathroom. It felt safe to walk around in the Neighbourhood (during daytime), people seemed friendly and interested. Note that it is not a touristy area, what makes the experience of visiting Praia more authentic."
