"The view from our room was stunning (room 8), the staff were lovely and the food was good. The walk into town was 20 minutes or a taxi was $3. the location was very peaceful."

"Fantastic forest setting. Great views of the trees, birds etc. from the panoramic windows. Extremely spacious over 2 floors. Loved the spa bath on the balcony. My wife and I soaked in it every day. Excellent breakfast and good dinner menu. Also enjoyed the heated outdoor pool. Great location if you have a car as it's just outside town on the road to most things you may want to visit. Easy to get taxi in and out of town if needed. Very comfortable bed."

"Waking up after a comfortable night's sleep to bird song, and seeing the tree tops and mountains from our bed. The food was tasty and good choices. Breakfast was served to us by friendly & helpful staff, and a good variety of dishes. Vegetarian options were good too. Nice hot, good water pressure shower too."
"The hot tub needed printed instructions for use, as we couldn't use the first night as we couldn't work out how to fill the tub 🙄"

"- at times we felt the floor and stairs were slightly moving - the upper floor gets stuffy and warm - some bugs get inside in spite of the mosquito nets in the windows - the tap in the bathroom was ridiculously small"

"It was close enough to town to walk but far enough for peace and quiet. We would adventure in the morning then come relax in the room because it was so beautiful."

"The location is wonderful. Although not near town the walk down the hill is not far or difficult and a taxi back up (if you don't want to walk uphill), was 2$. The food was fantástic, the hummingbirds insane. The games room was a nice addition. I think we had the best mojitos here, ever! We had a family bungalow and although it was nice, it was quite rustic and basic. Only one of 4 rooms had a door. It had 2 lots of stairs and 2 bathrooms. Some of the bungalows over the suspension bridge looked more modern but we were closer to the main building for food/drinks and hummingbirds."
