"Just a really nice place to live. Room and bath/shower were great. Very quiet and I met some great guests. Especially nice that there is Yoga and Pilates available at the property. It is close to the village square but far enough away so it is very quiet. Lovred to wake to the sounds of the chickens and birds."

"The location is wonderful! The place is quaint and adorable and charming. Every effort seemed to have been made to make the place attractive and it certainly is. It is a surprise--like picking your favorite chocolate by accident!"

"We could have used some more soap. The bottle was nearly empty upon arrival. Also, we could not find anyone to pay when we wanted to check out and we spent quite a lot to time trying to find someone! Finally, we had to leave the money in the room, which made me a bit nervous. Also, the roosters are VERY loud, but this is just normal for Vilcabamba."

"Beatrice welcomed us warmly and showed us our apartment. Spotless clean. Everything we needed was there. Great ambience. Very green. Nice view from our window. We had some questions about the town and more and all were answered warmly. My mother attended morning Yoga and was impressed. We needed to leave a bit later than checkout, for our next checkin elsewhere, and the host let us keep the luggage there and use a common area and made us feel at home."

"I like everything in this hostel, my stay was very pleasant. The yoga room was perfect for me to do my daily workouts and the kitchen was complete, so I could cook my meals without issues. The hosts are very kind people. The place is very calm and my nights were very calm, so I had a good sleep there."

"My only suggestion is to add another bathroom, in the mornings it's hard to use the bathroom because there's only one for everybody."

"#5 is our favorite room. Very close to downtown Vilca with all her great restaurants and shops. Great value for the price. Good community kitchen. We felt very safe here. Don't forget to bring cash, lots of 10's 5's and 1's."

"Lots of noise. Motorbikes and trucks racing by all day and night. Also, there must be 100 chickens in the area. The roosters start crowing at 12:01 am."
