"A fantastic stay. I can't fault anything about the hotel. A stones throw from Cuenca cathedral. Superb staff especially Vivian and Jaime. Beautiful interior and balconies. The staff went above and beyond when Latam cancelled our flight to Quito. With my lack of Spanish, they contacted Latam to see what was going on and even printed boarding passes at the hotel. Jaime on the front desk was superb. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel in beautiful Cuenca."

"The hotel is located in an old historic building. After our fist night, we transferred to a quieter room, which was a complete suite and very large and comfortable. The staff very friendly and attentive, but spoke little English - thanks Google Translate. The breakfast room was pleasant, but the only choices were eggs with or without ham. Abundant coffee. The location was excellent, just one block from the main plaza and church."

"Our first night was in one of the balcony rooms racing the street. Although nice and large, the original single-pane windows didn't block any of the street noise which started at about 5 am. For our remaining nights, we were able to transfer to a larger suite unit away from the street."
