"We loved the view from our eco friendly and very well appointed self contained place - we could see the sea and were surrounded by trees, flowering plants and birds. We liked being a short walk downhill to the village of Castara with grocery shops, places to eat local food and entertainment. Bars on the beach were very friendly. We loved getting a boat to nearby coves and snorkelling. Paradise for us!"

"The fairly stiff walk back from the village is fine as long as you don't rush. The Castara Retreats Restaurant serves lovely fresh fish caught locally but wine as you might expect is eye wateringly expensive. Try Stag beer instead and even that is twice as expensive as in the village."

"Fantastic location and design layout! Amazing bedroom & shower with astounding unforgettable views over the beach (max 5 min walk) watching manta rays & the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Apart from thoughts below this is a truly amazing place!!!"

"Toilets could have been cleaner & toiletries in both bedrooms not just one? Better more flexible lighting at night time for when you need it. It can be a bit shadowy! Perhaps a welcome pack always a great gesture. The mosquito net in the top room (ceiling hanging style) was pretty useless & looked a bit used."

"If you want to go to sleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the most spectacular view of the bay then book Alibaba's Seabreeze! Amazing snorkeling, wildlife in abundance (right on your balcony), friendly locals and the best fresh seafood I've ever tasted! Communication with Stephanie was perfect, any questions I had before and during our stay she replied straight away :) Alibaba picked us up and took us back to the airport no problem, really great hosts! We had the best time in this little slice of paradise!"
