"The house and the location are really good. House is fully equipped for stay - everything as written, all functional. If something is broken service man come to fix it. Water is drinkable. The owner always responds quickly. People arounds are really nice and helpful. The buses from capital is going every 2 hours during the week (if the bus does not come someone give you a lift). There is a shop at the beach selling bus tickets and they have bus schedules. There is supermarket and places to eat - all restaurants cook very tasty meals. The dogs were not on the property during our stay and are not agresive."

"I did not like the way of the payment. I prefer to pay through booking to have security, but every accommodation in Tobago try to avoid that. PayPal links through booking chat did not work, I felt pressured with 24 hours´ reservation time frame and I ended up paying to the foreign bank account with extra international costs on both sides. We ordered the transfer from ferry port. The transfer was late, but came. The feeling during waiting was unpleasant from unknown. The cockerel wakes us up every morning at 4 am."

"It's a fantastic location, the wildlife is diverse and abundant, the location is peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of capital, castara beach is 5 - 6 minute walk away there is plenty of food shops to buy what you need, and the local people are friendly and very helpful,"

"Das Haus liegt oben auf dem Hügel, 5 Minuten bis zum Strand und zum Supermarkt, man kann am Nachmittag unten am Strand frische Fisch kaufen( den Fischer auf Wunsch ausnehmen und filetieren) Leider während meinem Aufenthalt fast durchgehend geregnet und ich konnte nicht viel unternehmen, dafür gab es die Möglichkeit im trockenem auf Balkone zu sitzen und exotische Vögel beobachten die wir meistens aus Bilderbücher kennen🙂 es gab im Zimmer ein sehr gut angebrachte Vorhang um das Bett herum und ich konnte mit geöffnete Fenster und Türen schlafen ohne von Moskitos bei lebendigem Leibe aufgefressen zu sein. Mit frischer Abend Brise war es wesentlich schöner als mit einer Klimaanlage( die war nicht vorhanden und ich habe diese auch nicht vermisst)"

"The house is spacious, well-ventilated, and surrounded by amazing nature. From the balcony — our favourite spot — we enjoyed beautiful views and watched agoutis, parrots, motmots, hummingbirds, tanagers, bananaquits, cocoricos, and more. At night, the sounds of frogs, toads, and crickets created a magical atmosphere. We even boiled and ate the chataigne that fell from the tree in front of the kitchen window — a small, delicious taste of Tobago. Ria, one of the staff members, prepared us an incredible pepper roti — flavorful, comforting, and full of local character. This stay is perfect for nature lovers seeking peace, comfort, and good local food."

"The property sits high on the hill, so there are some stairs to climb. My mother-in-law preferred to stay in after arriving because of them, but for me it was great exercise — and the beautiful view and fresh, breezy air make the climb completely worth it, especially when it’s humid and hot."

"Sehr freundliche Besitzer. Nettes Haus, mit Blick auf Palmen und ein kleines Stück Meer, in gepflegten Garten gelegen. Es ließen sich Besucher aus dem angrenzenden Wald beobachten. Handtücher wurden einmal die Woche gewechselt. In der Küche hat man mit Gasherd, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank und Toaster alles was man braucht. Die Räume lassen sich, meist ausreichend, mit Ventilatoren belüften, was für ein wenig Abkühlung sorgt was auch nötig ist wenn man vom Strand kommt."

"Der Zustand des Gasherdes und der Kühl Gefrierkombination sind im Januar 2025 Erneuerungsbedürftig. Das Waschbecken im Bad, inklusive Ablageflächen, ist gemessen an der Anzahl der Betten zu klein. Das warme Wasser zum Duschen wird direkt am Brausekopf erzeugt, was wahrscheinlich ortsüblich ist, für den normalen Mitteleuropäer aber eher gewöhnungsbedürftig, zumal die elektrische Leitung dorthin nicht vertrauenserweckend war. Letztendlich haben wir kalt geduscht was nicht weiter schlimm war. An den Aussentreppen fehlen teilweise Absturzsicherungen. Trotz einiger Mängel würde ich die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen."
