"We stayed here overnight with an early start to the Mara Triangle. Lots of game on the way in. Highly recommend. Especially as it is so expensive now for Foreigners to enter and camp in the Mara."

"Tents are spacious and comfortable and Easily accommodated extra bed. The tents are Located on the Mara River with resident hippos serenading all day. Resident monkeys, Dik diks, mongoose and bush babies are there to entertain! The food was excellent and the Staff very attentive and helpful. Generally a very wonderful atmosphere for an amazing safari."

"Huge herds of local cattle are encroaching very close to the tent camps and seem to be taking over much of the wild animal habitat in the conservancy There were areas of the conservancy which were closed to tourists (that in past have been readily available) because of the cattle This however is a problem for all camps in the area and not just the Royal Mara"
