"Breakfast buffet seemed abundant but I generally have a continental breakfast so I only had coffee and a croissant on the go. I was glad I could pay for those without having to pay for the full buffet. My room overlooked the inner park, and was very quiet. It was spotless, and the cleaner tidies it daily. I liked also the design wood lamp shade that gave the room a pleasant atmosphere through its intricate shading.. The reading room with the tea station on the floor is a nice touch."

"There could have been on the tv a news and a movie channel in English or French. The only noon German channel I could find was Eurosport. I disliked the fact that the key inserted for electricity automatically turned on the banquet services on the tv screen, and that I had to manually turn them off."

"We traveled with our toddler and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel has a very large garden, which was perfect for spending quality time with our child. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant area was spacious with plenty of options suitable for kids. We stayed in a family room, which gave us enough space and comfort. Overall, the hotel was clean and family-friendly."

"The location was not extremely close to the Christmas markets, but it was still walkable and not difficult to reach. There was no coffee machine in the room; however, there was a shared area where you could always get coffee etc.. These were not an issue for us."

"The room was quiet spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and available to answer all questions . They also were considerate to keep the baby food warmer in the room and the toddler bed was very comfortable for the 3 year old to sleep."

"Feels like a 5 star hotel. Great facilities and thoughtful amenities. The location is about 10 mins from central on the tram and perfect to be away from the noise. All transport is free for hotel guests in Basel."
