"Encantador hotel al bell mig d'aquesta preciosa població alpina. El personal és molt amable i proactiu a l'hora d'ajudar i proveir d'idees per disfrutar de l'entorn. El seu bar/restaurant, molt cómode tant per fer un café, com per sopar o per descansar després d'excursions. Ve gent de tot Appenzell i és un dels punts forts de l'hotel. La seva situació és fantàstica, al bell mig de la plaça principal de la població, amb les finestres que donen a la plaça i les muntanyes de fons."

"Very nice comfortable hotel, good location, friendly attentive staff. We only booked bed & breakfast - but ate in the restaurant every night - great choice of lovely food at a reasonable price & lovely staff. Eating A la carte particularly suited our son who doesn't like sauces or "fussy" food & also ourselves as we can't usually manage starters as well as a big main course - so was great for all of us. Breakfasts were superb with a great choice of food also. The Appenzell Guest Card was a real bonus - allowing us lots of free travel on trains & 3 lots of cablecars. We managed a fantastic day trip to Lindau in Germany on Lake Bodensee in just over 2 hours (with 4 train changes) - which with the guest card free to St Gallen - we only had to buy a Bodensee Ticket Day Pass (Zone East) for the day for 22 CHF each with our half price rail pass. This also enabled us to return part of the way by boat."

"Nice hotel in a great location, right in the city centre with easy walk to the train station. My room was very cozy with a nice view and comfortable bed and bathroom with spacious shower. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed coffee for breakfast - great quality!"
