"No hot water in the shower, very annoying! Wall sockets were indeed "near the bed" but not at the pillows' side. Although there is an open air kitchen, I don't think anybody wanted to sit there to have dinner in 35C degrees so it would be great if there was at least a small foldable table inside the room to sit down at."

"Great price/quality. Nice and clean room with everything you need and a patio with a hammock where you can relax looking at the palm trees and mango trees and hear the tropical birds singing. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. You will feel at home. If I come back to El Tunco I will definitely stay here again."

"We stayed for one night in El Tunco to break up our journey to Nicaragua. Hostal Camila’s is located just by the entrance to “Surf City” so is max. 5 minute walk from everything in town & the beach. The room was small but clean with modern bathroom and a fantastic A/C unit which was a necessity! Host was friendly and we wish we could have stayed longer in El Tunco and at Camila’s."

"Staff were friendly and greeted us on arrival and room was spacious and comfortable. We were only there for a quick one night stop so we didn’t use the room that much - but it was in a great location to walk down to the beach and the restaurants, shops etc."
