"My host greeted me as I arrived. He is a very attentive and helpful man. He helped me organise a driver for 2 days so that I could explore the areas outside of San Miguel, which was the main reason for travelling there The location is good, quiet considering the area. The room doesn't have curtains, despite a big glass entry door. Instead, it has a large metal door that you lock as you leave. Initially, that felt a bit "funny" bit it turned out to be perfect. Not only did it prevent any chance of anyone looking in at night, but it also cut out the traffic sound. There is a little window in the batjmhroom (facing the courtyard), which provides some light. The bed is very comfortable and there is hot water. There is a microwave and a coffee maker + some basic items. I was very comfortable during the 3 nights I spent there, and I can't thank Carlos enough for all the information and assistance he provided to ensure that I had a good stay."

"Great location in terms of the bus to and from San Salvador. Shared spaces are lovely, rooms are a bit noisy from the nearby road."
Didn't find out dorms were also available until after I had already booked and paid.
