"The other reviews are true: Nilda (and her brother Lalito, who was visiting), gave me the best welcome to Sao Tome imaginable! They are kind, speak English well, and Nilda was super attentive and helped me with anything I needed, and with a smile! The room was spacious and room+bathroom were very clean. There's a guest kitchen with fridge. The location is central with just a few minutes walking distance from the markets, shared taxis etc."

"The location is great. The shared living room is nice. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The guesthouse is very good value. The WiFi was excellent. You can get a moto taxi to the airport for 40 dobra. Don't pay €10 for a taxi.."
"There are lots of signs to say don't bang the doors but we were unlucky that the other guests ignored them. There was no water a lot of the time."

"The best thing about this accomodation was Nilda and her mom. They made us feel so welcome and were a great source if information about a country we didn't know an didn't speak the language. Nildas English is excellent. We felt right at home here. The rooms are basic but clean enough, and the beds were comfortable. The shower waterpressure was low, but there was hot water. The kitchen looked well equipped but we never used it, since Nilda gave so many tips for good restsurants. Easy to walk all around the city from here."
"The road is very loud and the rooms are hot. Luckily there is a fan and we had very few power cuts."

"House is beautiful,spacious and clean. Has everything you need for your holiday. Place is surrounded by plenty of tropical trees and plants and birds singing. Hosts are very welcoming and happy to assist with everything. I recommend Casa Augusto."

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."
"Fiquei apenas por uma noite pois foi a última noite antes da partida, mas posso dizer que fiquei surpreendida. A localização é meio escondida, apesar de muito central, e por fora a entrada mete um pouco de medo mas, ao entrar vê-se logo o pátio super agradável e as portas de vidro para o quarto que até é espaçoso. Tem boa luminosidade também. Tem uma secretária simpática, internet, mini fridge, cama grande e um espelho corpo inteiro que para as mulheres é sempre uma mais valia! O rapaz que não recebeu foi super querido, recebeu-nos tarde explicou tudo bem explicadinho e notou-se que tinham o negócio bem organizado."

"L'allotjament està ben situat, a prop del centre neuràlgic de la ciutat de São Tomé i del Parque Popular. Les instal·lacions són senzilles però comfortables pel preu que es paga. L'amo de l'allotjament, el senyor Eliso, ens va fer sentir com a casa i es va assegurar que no ens faltava de res."

"We are a family of 6 and we spent 20 days in this 3 bedroom spacious and comfortable house with excellent facilities and everything worked well starting from the air conditioning in all of the rooms, the standby generator, kitchen appliances ie: boiler, washing machine, fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker etc, big smart TV with Netflix amazon prime in the living room. Located in the city centre and close to the shops and restaurants with easy street parking. The house also have a well maintained private front garden where residents can relax.. The house has been recently refurbished."
