"A wonderful , basic cabin located in the arguably the best location on the island . Surrounded by acres of exotic fruit and native forest beyond. Birdlife is prolific. This is a place to stay for birdwatching with flocks of African grey parrots, kingfishers, egrets .. and so much more to see.. Excellent value meals can be brought to your table daily. Freshly caught fish, local grown fruit and rice. No need to cook . It's good quality and great value. Bring cash for guides and daily, national park entry fees . The beach is amazing ... REALLY"

"Ensure you have bought a local sim-card, loaded with data before arriving. Wifi may not work. Also, before arriving, stop at a supermarket and buy sufficient drinking water for your stay. ( 2 litres per person per day minimum ). Bring mosquito spray for your jungle walks and be prepared to rough it ."

"We really loved our time at Casa de Andréa in the Roça of Terreiro Velho of Lucindo and Marie. Located right at the edge of the Obô natural park, the house offers a total immersion in it's natural surroundings. From the balcony various bird species can be observed such as the African Grey Parrot. The nearby waterfall (O Que Pipi) and beach (Praia Abelha) are incredible and you'll probably find yourself alone. The house itself is spacious, clean and well equipped (mosquito nets included). Both dinners and breakfast served were cooked with local produce from the Roça and Marie (the landlady) prepared us the best food we had in the country. Through Lucindo we also arranged a car trip around the island and a boat trip to Baia das Agulhas, which we both highly recommend. The ideal nature-based getaway!"

"Het is een fantastische plek om midden in de natuur, buiten de bewoning, alleen te mogen overnachten. In de avond vliegen de vleermuizen in vele soorten langs je balkon. In de ochtend wordt je wakker door een oorverdovend vogel concert, die je allemaal van dichtbi kunt bewonderenj. Je bent super dichtbij het national parc. Ook de hulp met kok en gids was prima voorzien. Bed is goed (ben zelf ca 2 meter)."

"De voorzieningen zijn nog niet helemaal op niveau. Water en licht kan uitvallen, maar dat is op wel meer locaties. De eigenaar was blij met onze feedback en heeft aangegeven een aantal (kleine) reparaties binnenkort door te voeren."

"Adoramos a nossa estadia na Casa de Andréa, na Rossa do Lucindo!! Lugar maravilhoso, no meio da natureza, perto da linda praia da Abelha (dá para ir a pé) e à porta da reserva natural Obo (reseva da biosfera - Unesco) e perto da cascata O qué Pipi. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo Lucindo e pela Mari, hospitalidade e cuidado incrivel. Pequeno-almoço e jantar incrível, preparado pela Mari."

"Wunderbare Lage im Wald. Wir haben uns in der Einsamkeit sehr sicher gefühlt. Lucindo und seine Frau Marie sind wunderbare , liebevolle Gastgeber. Marie kocht mit Herz leckere Gerichte die auf dem.Motorrad am Abend gebracht werden. Unkomplizierte Organisation von Touren und Transport wenn gewünscht. Portugiesische oder spanische Sprachkenntnisse sind nötig. Roça Lucindo ist eine einfache Art ein gutes Gespür für Principe zu bekommen."
