"It is a very nice hotel and extremely good restaurant. The garden and the lake are wonderful. Breakfast was very good too."

"The family rooms were quite tiny, hardly any space to leave the luggage. But for 2 nights this was fine, and we knew this from the pictures before we arrived."

"A nice place to stay in lovely surroundings. I loved the sauna by the lake and the breakfast was very good to. The hotel has a lot of little thoughtful touches: yea and coffee making facilities in the corridors, umbrellas and wellington boots for the rain."

"Väldigt fin frukost. Barnvänligt med mycket utrymme och även möjlighet att sitta ute och äta. Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal som lämnade ut papper och kritor till barnen. Vi stannade två nätter och var på Astrid Lindgrens värld. Läget va perfekt."

"Vi är 4 st i familjen och hade bokat 3 sängar + en resespjälsäng. Men vi fick ett rum med 2 90 sängar och en resesällskap utöver spjälsäng. Det hade varit toppen att om det fanns 3 bädds rum då mamman fick sova i resenären med minsta barnet 😅 annars var rummet fint och fräscht."

"We were there at the end of the season, so we were practically alone. Beautiful location and cottage a few meters away from the lake. We loved our own private outdoor toilet. The shared showers (2) were clean, we did not use the sauna. The cottage is basic, but the kitchen was good, small table to sit, the beds were good and there was airconditioning/heating. You'll spend most time outdoors anyways ;) the night sky was amazing. Would recommend for sure."

"Peaceful and nicely equipped resort well situated in true Sweedish wonderland (lakeside), ideal for teambuildings and group/family gatherings. The location itself is simply amazing(!) offering endless possibilities for relaxation and mental health (lake swimming, fishing, canoeing, BBQ, sauna, hiking, and many more...). It's been our 3rd time here in Vardnas resort for summer Tai Chi camp, and we will definitely come back again! Nice and tasty kitchen, fresh ingredients."
