"Extremely pet friendly: The main reason we booked this hotel. Not only were we not asked to pay extra for our 6 kilos dog, but she was also allowed at breakfast. The hotel is in a privileged location, right in the historical centre and facing the river. It's in a beautiful building and the rooms are simple, in good taste, and have everything you may need. Breakfast was surprisingly good: There weren't that many options, but the few options available were of high quality, which is the way to go. The shower was fantastic and the room was spacious. There's free and paid parking nearby."
"Noise insulation: We were facing the square and the road, and you could hear every car go by, very loudly, as well as even the voices of people talking outside our room. The same can be said of noises from other rooms since we could even hear our neighbours snoring."

"The location is great - opposite the waterside and a very short walk to great cafes and restaurants. We were staying there on our Honeymoon and I had asked for there to be flowers and champagne in our room for our arrival. The hotel did a great job of providing these - the champagne was on ice and the flowers were gorgeous! Our room had a balcony overlooking a square where a music festival took place on the Friday and Saturday of our stay. This was a bonus as the town was full of people at night and had a wonderful, vibrant atmosphere. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a little basic but that is the Portuguese way. I must recommend the restaurant at the hotel. It was the best food we experienced anywhere in Viana!"
