The breakfast is nice and goes perfect with the view. I really recommend if you want to have a quiet stay with great views over the valley."

"The position was the most beautiful. Staff delivered our breakfast to have on the terrace overlooking the Douro Valley. We chose our breakfast when we checked in and it arrived in a beautiful hamper the following morning. Had we stayed longer we would have used the swimming pool."

"The staff seems entirely impersonal. The breakfast was served to the rooms, while this was fine when the sun was out and you could eat on the terrace, on the day it rained we sat inside our room eating breakfast. There are limited places to eat, especially on a Sunday."
