"Pequeno-almoço de reis, servido pela Amelia (proprietária), uma pessoa muito bonita, que o recebe e lhe conta todos os pormenores desta casa histórica. Adorámos, estava tudo muito limpo. Um lugar ideal para relaxar, partilhar com a sua família ou casal. Repleto de arte e história, com espaços de sonho para ler um bom livro, beber um bom copo de vinho e partilhar."

"We had a lovely stay at Casa das Obras and we were sorry it wasn't for longer. Our room was lovely and spacious even though it was 'budget'. There is also a communal sitting room with a fire and a games room with a billiard table. Tea, coffee and home made biscuits are available, which is a really lovely touch. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and had a great range of options. Our hostess was friendly and welcoming. We thought the place was stunning."

"Fantastic place. A mansion located in center of Manteigas. The building is from XVI and XVIII century, and inside you feel like in palace. There is even bilard room. Breakfast was excellent, with good choice of hams and cheeses."

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."
"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."
