This charming guest house provides rooms that offer scenic views of the Guadiana River or of the whitewashed town of Mértola. The Beira Rio has its own boat for tours of the Guadiana River. Kayaks and bicycles are available for rental. All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with a satellite TV for guests’ entertainment. The private bathroom is fitted with a de nova generació shower cabin and toilet. Beira Rio’s public areas have free WiFi. A buffet-style breakfast is served in the cosy dining room with large windows to the river. Alternatively, guests can take the breakfast out to the terrace with excellent river valley views. Beira Rio’s riverfront location makes it perfect base for fishing, boat tours and canoeing. Staff can organise this at an additional charge. Mértola’s hilltop castle is under 10 minutes’ walk away. The Guadiana Valley Natural Park is establerted on the guest house’s doorstep. Beira Rio Guesthouse also offers free on-site parking for bicycles and motorcycles.

"Que no informessin abans que per el check-in havies d'anar a l'hotel del costat que deu ser del mateix grup. Arribes, entres amb les maletes a la recepció i no hi ha ningú, només una nota al taulell dient que has d'anar a l'hotel del costat."
