"The host was great! We had to queue for Machu Picchu tickers so would have missed normal breakfast time so he got up early for us! The next day he came and found us in the bus queue with a packed breakfast to take on the bus up!! Location is amazing right on the main street"

"The rooms are a little damp if you use the shower a lot and can be loud with the main street but it will be like that anywhere on the main street"

"The rooms were very nice, really comfortable bed, warm shower and good WiFi. Staff were nice and breakfast was good. Walking distance everywhere with bars/restaurants all close by"

"Just very noisy, bring earbuds! The balcony door didn’t close properly and can hear a lot of the noise from the bars until late, might be best to ask for a room inside rather than street facing"

"• very well located in one of the busiest street of Agua Calientes • good breakfast for the price you pay • warm shower & well furnished bathroom • seems to be a cute family owned hostel :) Nice staff, we actually booked another hotel we had to cancel very short notice because they didn’t had water. We booked Tayta 10min before we arrived for check in."

"• not actually an inconvenience but staff is only Spanish speaking so if you only speak English, you’ll have to find your ways to communicate :)"

"Muy cómodo, si cuenta con agua caliente, tiene secadora de cabello, buen desayuno, muy amables, nos dijeron que podíamos dejar las cosas con ellos después del check out para seguir recorriendo el pueblo."

"Todo estuvo maravilloso, desde la amabilidad de Oscar al ir por nosotros a la estación del tren, su trato y explicarnos lo necesario . Las habitaciones impecables, olían a nuevo. El desayuno delicioso con esos panes artesanales hechos al horno que los que conocemos de panadería y repostería valoramos y disfrutamos al máximo. Recomendado al mil."

"Da wir schon um 5:45 Uhr abreisen wollten, haben wir ein Lunch Paket bekommen, was wir nach der harten Wanderung bis Machu Pichu geniessen konnten. Für 30 Soles ( für 3 Personen) durften wir in unseren Zimmern nach dem check out duschen, als wir nach dem Besuch in Machu Pichu unser Gepäck abgeholt haben ( ca.14 Uhr). Beim check in wurden mir Eiswürfel auf Anfrage gebracht, da ich gestürzt war und meine Verletzungen kühlen wollte. Sehr zuvorkommend."

"I booked this hotel because I knew that upon arrival from Lima I would have altitude sickness and I wanted a calm, peaceful setting for the first couple of days of my visit to the Huancayo region. From the Jauja airport, it is a 20 minute taxi ride. The hotel is in a rural area and it was perfect for what I wanted. The staff was very kind and accommodating during my stay. The grounds were perfect for walking around a bit while getting used to the altitude. I even met an alpaca! I spent a lot of time resting in my room and they have very good wifi. Breakfast was good, I ate good lunches at the restaurant as well. It is an older property but the room was very clean and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The next time I go to Huancayo, I would definitely repeat the experience."

"Checkin was smooth with friendly and helpful staff. Location was very convenient! Located a 5min walk from the coach stop for our tout (Peru-hop- also a tour company I would recommend) and restaurants, activities, shops and the oasis which made it the ideal spot after a day or night out. The pool was also a lovely facility we took advantage of when we stayed especially given the heat during the day. Unfortunately there were a bit of work going on at the time to decorate for upcoming Christmas festivities. These did not disrupt or deminish out expereince here and we could still appreciate the courtyard. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a good night's rest."

"Absolutely beautiful setting in lush gardens. Many birds to watch and fantastically clear sky for the stars at night. The staff were helpful giving us an extra radiator after we were cold the first night, they even bought us hot water bottles. The breakfast was great with fresh avocado, eggs and fruit. The jacuzzi and sauna were great although you have to pay extra for them which we did not realise at the time of booking the hotel."
