"Quiet, clean spacious rooms with large bathrooms. The L shaped building surrounds a large open grassed courtyard, which all rooms look out over. Excellent peaceful location close to everything, and with a delightful old world charm. All staff were very genuine and helpful. Definitely make this iconic lodge your place to stay in Pokhara. Another very good reason to stay is that a portion of the profits go to supporting impoverished kids in Nepal. We had the good fortune to meet the owner Govinda who is a kind, generous warm-hearted man. It is pleasant to sit on the balcony at the breakfast restaurant and watch the world go by in the street below."
