At The Dwarika’s Group of Residèncias and Resorts, our ethos is about giving back to our guests, to Nepal, and to the placurat – a philosophy that informs all that we do. We hold at our core a deep respect for the cultural and natural heritage of Nepal. The commitment to heritage conservation dates back to 1952. Our actions are always directed toward the restoration, conservation, preservation, and revival of the architectural, cultural, social, and natural heritage of Nepal. In line with these central principles, we constantly endeavor to nurture both people and the placurat and to maximize the positive impact that we have on our surroundings and community. As such, with the aim to fulfill our responsibility towards Mother Nature and promote sustainability, the Dwarika’s Group is moving firmly towards an organic lifestyle of zero-waste. Further, by using Nepali design, artifacts, linen, and upholsteries we promote local skills that are inherently Nepali, we seek to revive crafts and cultural knowledge that are indigenous to Nepal. Hammam I Sauna and Bathroom amenities are made in-house in the Pancha Kosha Himalayan Espai De Relaxació drawing inspiration from ancient Ayurveda, Buddhist medicine, and traditional Himalayan Knowledge using Himalayan herbs. We implement and encourage natural, indigenous, and organic agricultural methods in our six eco-organic farms spread across the country hence preserving the environment. Celebrating the abundance that nature has bestowed we make a conscious effort to serve unadulterated, natural, and authentic culinary delights that are pure and natural following the Food Principles of serving organic, seasonal, and less travel food where possible in an effort to make a difference where we can.

"Such an incredible property, really comfortable, great food and friendly staff. Everything you could ask for. When inside, feels like you are totally removed from the chaos of Kathmandu city."
"I was trying to book a second night directly through the hotel instead of via booking.com, but the reservation personnel didn’t really seem too bothered in making a deal happen directly through the hotel, which I found a little off putting as I could tell there were plenty of rooms still available. In the end I just booked it through booking.com which was cheaper than what he was offering directly through the hotel. Secondly, my room wasn’t ready when I arrived to the hotel which is totally fine, no issue, so I went out and explored Kathmandu. For the price I was paying for the room, I kinda assumed that my luggage would have been transferred to the room in the meantime once the room was ready, but when I came back, it wasn’t and I had to get my bags myself and bring them to the room."
"A sanctuary inside a hectic city. This was the highlight of our trip to Nepal. From the moment we exited our vehicle to walking through the front door, we were met with a high level of service. We opted to take up the offer of a room upgrade which included free breakfast. Our executive suite had a lovely view over the courtyard. Thoroughly enjoyed the activities on offer from the morning blessing and the trips to the sacred temples. The food was enjoyable. We appreciated the chef preparing dishes that were not on the menu. The chicke. Wings were particularly good and should be even added to the menu. The spa was exceptional and the therapies were delivered to a high professional level. It’s a photogenic hotel, be sure to grab as many photos as you can."
"The only nitpicks we could make about this exceptional hotel would be the noise disturbance brought about by a large group with young kids who were running around the restaurants and getting in everyone’s ways as well as playing around with the shrines in the courtyard. The pool was also under maintenance during our stay."
"What an amazing experience from the time I first stepped into the property. An architectural gem. Excellent service. Great facilities. I could have easily spent the whole time without leaving the property."

"There wasn't much to dislike. We couldn't figure out how the curtains/ blackout worked."
"I really liked the general calm atmosphere in the middle of a hectic city. Toiletries were very nice as well, massage was excellent."
"Shampoo bottles need to be fixed because now they need to be opened fully to use the shampoo (little thing)."
"Amazing beautiful hotel great staff and good food in the 3 restaurants"
"The gift shop was closed but no issues"
"Wonderful room, relaxing and great nights’ sleep after high altitude hiking. Staff delightful, we were very well looked after and felt at home. Glorious courtyards gardens are an oasis in a busy city, flowering trees, pots of seasonal blooms, scented climbers, birds. Arranged a guide to take us to Patan - excellent. Also arranged hotel transport from and to the airport."
"We’re not used to smoking these days whilst dining - but staff were very helpful getting us outside tables away from a group of smokers. No smoking is allowed dining inside. The courtyard dining is a lovely area!"
"Everything was terrific: the design (preserving beautiful cultural heritage), extremely helpful and nice people, great food, pool area, spacious rooms, the whole atmosphere: calm and peaceful! Definitely recommend!!!"

"The staff, food, ambience everything was just perfect. All the staff starting from GM, Chef Mr. Rajiv, restaurant staff Mr. Kedar, Prasanta, Swapna, Subhash are a few to mention. The young lady at the reception (forgot her name) was just super. Made our stay smooth and comfortable. Quickest check-in and check-out."

"Excellent location on the river bank next to the main Chitwan National Park. There's a machan on the river bank to see the animals. We saw crocodile 🐊, chital deers and Rhinoceros calls. Beautiful view. Try the local chicken curry. It's a bit expensive but mind blowing taste."
Avis de Ranjeet Wild Adventure Resort - Sunset Point
"Quiet, clean spacious rooms with large bathrooms. The L shaped building surrounds a large open grassed courtyard, which all rooms look out over. Excellent peaceful location close to everything, and with a delightful old world charm. All staff were very genuine and helpful. Definitely make this iconic lodge your place to stay in Pokhara. Another very good reason to stay is that a portion of the profits go to supporting impoverished kids in Nepal. We had the good fortune to meet the owner Govinda who is a kind, generous warm-hearted man. We extended our stay because we were very comfortable at Butterfly Lodge, and everyone made us feel so welcome. It is pleasant to sit on the balcony at the breakfast restaurant and watch the world go by in the street below."

Avis de Pori Hotel Travel Inn
"The hotel is about an easy 15 mins walk from the centre so benefits from quiet and green surroundings. The hotel itself has lovely gardens, spacious and comfy rooms and a good restaurant serving both breakfast and evening meals. All of the staff are delightful."
Avis de Jo Planet Bhaktapur Hotel
"The hotel is tucked away in Thamel so, although it is close to all the tourist amenities, it is quiet. The rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds and good showers. The reception staff are so helpful. Breakfast is very good with lots of options. My flight home was cancelled because of the war in the middle east but I just got a taxi back from the airport and was welcomed warmly. It helped me sort out my new arrangements and I was able to stay until my new flight."
