The railway station, the old town, many univers culinaris, catering establishments, sights, museums are at 5 minutes walking distance. The boutique-hotel has 18 rooms and 4 apartments. At the rear are 10 rooms, with bath and balcony. All these rooms can also be booked for 3 persons. The 8 rooms at the front look out, on the most beautiful square of Leiden. The rooms are offered at very attractive prices. Nearby you can rent bikes, book canal cruises, rent scooters etc. etc.

"the bed was comfortable the room was cleaned every day. The local area had plenty of food choices. I was able to visit the suberb Art Deco Lido cinema that was 75 meters from the hotel. The bus service to my place of work was also easy to use and went to exactly where I required. We were able to store our lugage untill we returned from work after check out"

"As others have said, the decor is a little dated but it really didn't bother us at all and added charm and appeal. A quirky extra that some might not like was that you have to access the rooms from outside, which was a bit chilly in February, but it also added charm and personality."

"Really nice hotel, with a little upstairs courtyard (shame about the weather!). It was very well located close to the train station and some shops and a couple of really nice pubs. Couldn't complain really! I was out all day every day so really only used the room to sleep and shower."

"Central location great. Our triple single bed room was large and though basic, was functional and clean. The coffee machine was a welcome bonus.The bathroom was a good size, with good shower and a bath. A garage was available to store our bicycles. The price was very good value."
"There was sometimes noise late at night from nearby late cafe/bar. Not excessive, but enough to wake us on a couple of occasions. Only a very basic breakfast was on offer, though there are other great alternatives nearby."
