"Arranged with the owner an activity on the island and even though I confirmed twice the price ( it was translated on the phone to Spanish to avoid confusion and clearly asked twice if the price agreed was the final including transportation, equipment and everything else) in the end when it was time to pay I was asked for 55 dollars more!! The owner said it was a language miscommunication which is not true as it was clearly confirmed in written and in Spanish if the price agreed was the final! That also explains why, even though I asked to pay immediately after the arrangement, he told me to pay the next day.. But that is a common practice in the country in general... In the end I cancelled it and dit it alone much cheaper."

"Central minute walk to ferry, non english staff but you manage, can wash your laundry for 10 cordobas a piece, handwash, have scooter for rent. Breakfast is extra."

"One of the nicest places I've stayed in Central America! Super friendly team who speak English and can make great coffee. The room was, huge, super clean, great AC and even had Netflix - it was hard to leave! Also really new, seemed to be the newest accommodation in Moyalgalpa. Extremely close to the pier."

"Excellent location right by the ferry port and near restaurants. The room was bigger than expected, the bed very comfy and the air conditioning worked brilliantly. The bathroom was a great size with really good water pressure in the shower. Really lovely staff too! There's a lovely little terrace with seats and charging points where you can sit and watch the sunset over the port. Great value for money, definitely recommend staying here in Moyogalpa."

"The WiFi was not good but that might be an island-wide issue! A full size mirror and somewhere to hang clothes in the room would be super handy if possible. Also a sign on the building with the name of the accommodation would be helpful as it's easy to miss."
