They’re very chatty and it was so good to practice my Spanish, the kids are adorable and I was spoiled with mangoes from their trees! It’s really good value for the money and you can rent a really good scooter from way less compared to other places. I can’t recommend this place enough!"

"It's a perfect place to explore Ometepe. It was great to stay with this lovely and super kind family who helped with transportation to the island, finding a scooter and made me feel super welcome and safe. I would definitely come back !"

"The Casa is managed by a family. It provides a great opportunity to experience Nicaraguan life and culture. I learnt a bit of Spanish, learnt to cook plantain chips, enjoyed the Nicaraguan breakfast offering and got to experience a bit of Nicaraguan life. The family is friendly, the Casa is clean and the location is central. Shops are within walking distance. They offer tours to the volcano and the entire island. They can also assist with motorbike rentals. They assisted me with a guide for Volcano Concepción. I also took a day tour around the island with a tour guide and a scooter that they organised. Prices were more competitive than elsewhere. Wonderful experience overall."
