"The hotel has a fantastic sunbed area, which is behind the beach. The whole hotel area is calm and beautiful, in our opinion perfect for families. "There is a beach club directly at the beach, where you need to consume for a certain amount in order to use the sunbeds. This did not bother us at all, as we ordered some food and drinks anyway, plus the hotels own sunbed area at the pool and bar is great. The beach was full of seagrass when we were there, but that also didn't ruin our experience, as we like to explore so we found nearby beaches which were cleaner at the time."

"The room was spacious and very quiet. The location is excellent – everything is within walking distance. The hotel is right on the beach and offers sun loungers. Breakfast was good, the staff were extremely friendly, and the entire property is very well maintained and beautifully designed. You can really see the care and love put into the place, especially by the gardener who takes wonderful care of the plants."

"It would be great if the sun loungers directly on the beach were free for hotel guests and charged only for day visitors. During our stay, the front loungers were often empty while hotel guests had to lie further back with a less nice sea view. This creates the feeling that day guests who pay extra are prioritized over hotel guests. To use a lounger, you need to spend 500 pesos per person, which is generally okay, but not ideal when you are staying at the hotel and already consuming food and drinks. Additionally, there were quite a lot of seaweed on the beach, which caused an unpleasant smell. If this were cleaned regularly, the beach would look much nicer and feel more enjoyable."

"Beautiful beach front location. Hotel grounds beautifully kept and lovely bar area. Breakfast was very simple and we felt a little frustrated to have to pay extra for juice. Lots of loungers always available and prompt bar service. Some staff very friendly (Francisco), others less so. Pool was good. Room felt cramped for a family of 4 and minimal storage space. Only 2 chairs outside room. Beach affected by seagrass and quite sludgy..... likely related to weather and time of year although beach further east appeared less affected."

"The only bad thing to say about the hotel was the beach. Unfortunately there was a lot of algaes in the water, so it was not pleasant to take a swim. But the hotel could not do so much about it."

"The location was perfect, on a super private beach with incredible views of the sunset. The pool was really clean and refreshing in the heat. The inclusive breakfast was simple but fresh and exactly what we needed (and unlimited coffee was a hit, as coffees were London prices in Holbox town). It was walking distance to the main town and Playa Holbox but the beach area was much quieter and less commercialised than Playa Holbox which really suited us. The staff were excellent and really friendly and helpful."

"There was nothing we didn't like but we did find the orange/blue sunbed rule a bit confusing at first and slightly restrictive if you just didn't fancy a drink, and the fridge could be quite loud at night (but we had earplugs so it was ok!)"
