"L’habitació és bonica i ben decorada i te un ventilador que permet evitar posar l’aire acondicionat. Les hamaques davant de la platja està molt be. Tenen aigua a tot arreu i pots reomplir les ampolles. Això evita comprar ampolles de plàstic. Pots anar caminant facilment a veure els flamencs a primera hora del matí."

"Awesome 2 week stay at a beautiful hotel right on the beach. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, the entire facility was spotless despite the challenge of the sand and we would highly recommend this hotel. It's a little farther away from the centre of town (a nice 20 minute walk along the beach) but we liked that it's away from the more populated end of the beach."

"We felt there is room for improvement with some of the food items on the menu, but enjoyed other items on the menu. We typically would eat elsewhere in the evenings but we enjoyed the breakfast menu very much."

"We loved everything about this hotel! It absolutely blew us away. The staff were kind, attentive and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a super experience. It was evident that they cared this way for every single guest. Every morning this hotel was the first on the beach to clear up the seaweed and make it accommodating for its guests. We were impressed with everything from start to finish. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we return! Thank you for an amazing experience"

"Breakfast delicious, sufficient and served in whichever location you preferred . Room well stocked with bathroom products, room very clean , towels changed daily , beach towels supplied. Staff friendly and work so hard throughout the day. Location excellent, away from the busy town but a satisfying walk away . Mango marguerites were fabulous. Loved the rustic, Mayan feel to the property."

"Was in Ocean front bungalow (5) the one to the right is close to the bar next door which can be too loud. The room below (6) which was priced the same and which our children occupied was very dark . From the photos I had expected to be directly beach front . Howevere it isnt far and in fact being set back gave a sense of privacy from people walking in front of the property. Pool was quite chilly and not in the sun so good for a cool down only."

"The dinner restaurant is not good. The pizza tasted store bought and the pasta we had one evening was bad. We waited for 40 minutes for someone to bring our luggage until I picked it up. For check out we didn’t bother."

"Beautiful property in a stunning setting, staff are extremely helpful and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They were available all through the stay via WhatsApp and were happy to deliver drinks/food wherever you were. We were also extremely grateful for the upgrade for our honeymoon!"

"Welcome to Holbox. Welcome to Palapas Del Sol. Welcome to paradise! The venue looked after us perfectly for everything including our transfer from Merida (taxi, ferry and buggy to the hotel - there are no cars on Holbox which adds to its perfection) The hotel was very luxurious with a great pool, breakfast can be on the beach, in your room or in the restaurant - you choose. The cocktails and food are outstanding as is the service from the team. Advise enjoying lunch on the beach as the menu is broad and caters for all tastes. We did one of the hotel recommended excursions on a boat trip around 3 different parts of Holbox - very worth it to capture the beauty of this paradise."
