"Spacious room and bathroom, comfy beds and good location. The hotel let us store our luggage after checkout till our bus journey late in the evening. Helpful staff."
"Long wait for hot water. Things that didn't bother me for short stay, but didn't work- elevator out of order, hairdryer available but not working, no ventilation in the bathroom."
"The location was fabulous. It was quiet and very close to the Zocalo. The staff was very nice. They let me check in early and kept my bags for me since I wasn't leaving until late in the afternoon. The breakfast was convenient and a good price. The fruit salad was fabulous and they brought me liquid milk for my tea and coffee for no extra charge. I hate Coffee Mate."
"The room was very small. No refrigerator or coffee maker. But I guess it's an old hotel and for the price, I couldn't expect many extra's or modern conveniences. Although, it wasn't that cheap by Mexico standards."

"Great Stay at a Budget Hotel I recently stayed at this budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. There was always someone at the front desk, usually the owners, which made me feel very welcome and safe as a solo traveler. My room was small but to be expected; both the fridge and air conditioner worked silently, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. The shower had warm water, which was a nice comfort. The hotel is well looked after and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to downtown where all the music and action is. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay! "

"This hotel is in the perfect location. It is very close to restaurants, stores and market as well as transportation and beaches. It is in an extremely quiet neighborhood, no barking dogs or roosters. The setup of the building is perfect to create a sanctuary around the pool area."
