"The parking situation could have been better, particularly for motorbikes. It wasn't as safe and secure as I would have liked, which did give me some worry overnight. The host advised me to remove my metal panniers from my bike and store them indoors.If the bike parking could be out of sight of public view, this would help."

"I practically don’t know where to start. I felt I reached my father or grand father’s home! From the time we entered till the time we left, we felt home! Achmed is one of a kind. Man with few words and just accommodates you with your requirements. I ended up meeting their entire family and their hospitality was personalised. His son, daughter in law, wife and daughter all were lovely and helped us from trek- tour- meals- henna art- big room, everything! Their meal portion is massive and generous. Terrace view is stunning. Hot water on point. Wifi working great. Washing done there too for a price. Clean location."

"I stayed at Gite du Lac for 3 Nights. It was a great experience! The rooms and whole place is simple but clean and nice! The hoats, Achmed and Amira are really sweet and nice and they can help you with many things! There is breakfast and homemade Dinner that is very delicious and for a reasonable price (i think it was 255 MAD for 2 dinners and 3 breakfasts, not sure though if it‘s always the same)! It is a perfect place to start lots of hikes and just to hang out in the peacful valley"

"My stay here was great. The gite is along the main road and very easy to find It is also just around the corner from the lake, coffee shops and shops. The terrace has great views. The WiFi works well. It was very clean, had a nice view from the room, a garden, nice salon, hot showers and comfortable bed. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and very generous. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and generous. Great value for money. I would absolutely recommend this stay."

"Quelle nourriture, la meilleure de notre séjour et pourtant nous avons très bien mangé le reste du temps mais là c était réellement exceptionnel ! Le lieu, basé entre le plateau de Kik, version marocaine de nos Aiguilles rouges, le col de Tizi N Test et le Toubkal est une excellente basepourbarouder dans les environs. Je terminerai par l'accueil d'Ahmed qui a été du même acabit que la nourriture préparée par sa famille. Incontournable dans la région!!!"

"The hosts are super nice, the breakfast very good!! The room was clean and bed comfortable, the toilet was shared but clean, nice hot shower. They let me parked the motorcycle inside the house, which was super nice."

"L'accueil chaleureux du propriétaire était bien, les diners étaient magnifiquement préparés, le petit déjeuner : rien à dire, généreux, frais, fait maison, rien d'industriel, huile d'olive de la région, olives cultivées directement de ses oliviers, Mr Ahmed (le propriétaire) était attentionné lors du service (diner, petit déjeuner) aucun dérangement et anticipation, il nous demande à chaque fois à quelle heure on veut manger et surtout qu'est-ce qu'on veut manger. Je recommande vivement, on s'est senti à la maison, et j'oublie de mentionner que le salon est spacieux et équipé d'une cheminée pour rester au chaud, quelques bouquins sont à dispo pour les rats de bibliothèques comme nous."

"Sincèrement rien à signaler, peut-être le manque de savon le premier jour, y'a pas mort d'homme, le propriétaire Mr Ahmed s'est rattrapé, pour le prix c'est même pas la peine de signaler cela, nous avons passé un bon séjour, surtout que le Gite n'est pas si loin du lac/barrage de Ouirgane."
