Rixwell Elefant Hotel

"I had a great stay at Rixwell Elefant and would happily stay here again in the future, as I usually do when travelling to Latvia.   The room was comfortable and overall the stay was very pleasant. The only small issue was that the room was a bit too warm, and as the air conditioning is currently not working, I had to open the windows to cool it down. It wasn’t a major problem, but it would be nice once the air con is operational again.   The restaurant was excellent – the food was very good and the bar staff were attentive and friendly. A special mention goes to the restaurant staff, particularly Anastasija, Sofija and Evgenija, who provided great service and made the dining experience even better.   Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay with great service and good food. I will definitely continue to stay here when visiting Latvia."

"The only other issue during the stay was low water pressure, which turned into no water at all on Sunday morning. However, this was resolved after a couple of hours and everything returned to normal."

"The only thing is that in the bathroom instead of a shampoo and conditioner bottles there were two conditioner bottles. Also the bath itself had a crack but perhaps that was a minor issue."

"Very spacious room and comfortable bed. Firm mattress which is my preference. Tea or coffee making set in the room. Excellent breakfast, with great variety of food for almost every taste. Definitely will stay again."

"When I booked the hotel room, I didn’t pay attention to the fact that it was possible to book a room without breakfast. I was looking for a hotel where breakfast was included in the price. In the morning, at the breakfast table, it came as a surprise that breakfast was not included in my room rate and I didn’t know that. It was an embarrassing moment, but the hotel employee handled it delicately, and I was able to pay for it later at check-out"
