There is no wardrobe in the room and no hand tissue was provided. The price was very expensive for the room No shuttle to pick up from the airport

Very small rooms, food options r limited and very expensive, exchange rate at reception is very poor, toiletries in room is very limited, not easy to find a taxi, no mini markets/shops around.

"During our stay, my wife fell ill. Diagnosed with severe malaria, she was transferred from the over-worked Moroni public hospital to a private clinic (at the hotel’s initiative). Over the next week, the Retaj’s staff treated us both as family and could not have been more helpful."

Some of the dinner service staff were not particularly professional - demure, inattentive, lacking humour.. Not what you'd expect for such a high class establishment.

"I have enjoyed staying at The Diplomat for decades. This is hotel life as it should be, which is probably why I keep going back. I enjoy a quiet meal with my family by the pool and do like to indulge in delicious food from all over the world. The staff are always friendly and extremely polite."

En ser un hotel d’una certa categoria, potser hauria esperat més detalls de cortesia dintre de l’habitació, com ara alguna caixa de Kleenexs, botelles d’aigua…

"I was able to book a room just before midnight of the same night (in the app it says 24 hours front desk). When I arrived, the doors were closed. I was able to call and they were able to open the doors after I woke them up and accommodated me but it's quite a surprise if it says 24 hours front desk and then it actually isn't..."

The room was small

"Extremely cool hotel if you go for a Tatami room. I liked the setting near a temple and in a quieter neighborhood but not too far from central Kyoto's nightlife area."

"All in all the service provided by the hotel during my 3 night stay was amazing. All the services requires are available and event it is more convenient with the additional hospitality provided by our host of the meeting PNG Customs."

The only challenge I encounter which requires some improvement is the internet connectivity especially the WFI coverage and connectivity which at times it is very weak while in the room. Otherwise everything else provided by the hotel is exceptionally outstanding.

"La situació estava molt be. Pots visitar la ciutat caminant des de l’allotjament. El personal va ser molt agradable i atent. L’esmorzar tambe era abundant i variat."

Estavem a la sisena planta i a la nit feia molta calor. Vam tenir que dormir amb la finestra oberta de bat a bat al mes d’abril. La calefacció centralitzada no deixava graduar-la i encara estava programada a mode d’hivern.

No hot shower, which was inconvenient. Noisy installations that affected comfort (water pump, no well isolated for insects) The check-in process was a bit complicated, but since it's a family-run business, we were understanding.

"Beautiful location, great restaurant, updated rooms, friendly staff"

The need for transportation if you wanted to go anywhere else.

"I had a great stay at Tulip Hotel. Room 105 was cozy, clean, spacious, and bright. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was very clean and nice , and everything felt well maintained. I also really liked the stylish and cozy bar area. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtfully done. You can clearly see the creative ideas behind the concept, all focused on making guests feel comfortable. The team work of the staff is impressive. Service is smooth and professional. The food is delicious, breakfasts and lunch were excellent. The spa area is another highlight, especially the hammam and the pool with refreshing ice cold water.Wonderful! Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming hotel that fully deserves a high rating. I would definitely stay here again."

The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in the hallway, especially when guests check in or out or use the shower nearby. The room 105 could benefit from better noise insulation.

It’s a bit way out to get to any bars or restaurants on foot- St.Lawrence Gap, £10 e/w, for amenities. Walk at your peril the roads & drivers are haphazard & it takes a good half hour if you’re relatively fit!

The lobby doesn't have any view to out ( I mean avenue and street ).
