Opened in 2008, the Mansió Edvards is a family-run mansió in a quiet part of Riga's centre, just 3 blocks away from the historic old town. The Riga Congress Cente is just 600 metres away, while Arena Riga is 2 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided. Rooms at Edvards are decorated in warm colours and each comes with a TV with cable channels, a minibar and a private bathroom with a shower and heated floors. Breakfast is served at the alberg every morning and coffee, tea and other drinks are available all day long. The location of the mansió allows for easy access to nearby museums, art galleries, the Skonto Hall and Arena Riga, as well as trendy shops, restaurants and cafés. The complex hoteler is located in a 19th-century building that was renovated in 2008, preserving the historic architectural style, yet creating avantguardista conveniences and comfortable rooms with a friendly ambience. The Freedom Monument is 750 metres away.

"Vam reservar una habitació amb dos llits separats i ens en van donar una amb un llit de matrimoni. Quan ho vam comentar a recepció ens van demanar disculpes i ens van oferir dues habitacions individuals pel mateix preu que vam acceptar. El que ens ha agradat més és la ubicació i l´esmorzar."

"Great location in the centre, pretty simple and charming hotel, friendly staff. Great value for the money and no nonsense. The facade is not on the street, but rather inside the block, and the windows are good so you can’t hear the street noise, it was super quiet and peaceful during my stay."
"Rooms look a bit dated, but it is not too bad and even gives it that authentic Riga feeling. The fan in the bathroom is running all the time, but this seems to be standard in Riga (had the same issues in all other hotels I've been to there, including large chains with newly remodeled rooms)."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
