Posicionated within the borders of Tsehlanyane National Park, Maliba River Lodge features self-catering chalets, a balneari urbà, punt de restauració, and bar. The lodge also offers hiking and horse riding in the surrounding area. The chalets are heated and come with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is an open-plan lounge and dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Each chalet also has a balcony and patio with river views. Guests can cook their own meals in the private chalet kitchens or dine at the bistrot. The balneari urbà offers a variety of relaxing massages. There is also a Kids’s Club at the lodge. Maliba River Lodge is located in the northern part of Lesotho, 300 km from the Liphofang Caves and 350 km from Katse Dam. Johannesburg International Airport is a 4.5-hour drive away.

"Beautiful location in the mountains, close to a river for a swim. The house at riverside lodge is well equipped with a BBQ and nice areas to sit outside. We booked a horse ride with the hotel which was good. The lunch we had at the hotel restaurant was good too."
"Small thing, at house 2 the plants are quite high which blocks the view at the downstairs terrace. Maybe cut the plants a bit?"
"Clean spacious chalets along the river below the main lodge. Great value for money if you travel as a group. The views are spectacular from the bedrooms and balconies. You have the option of self catering or have meals at the lodge about 1km away. There is WiFi. If you are wanting to get away from the city this place is spectacular!"

"We loved the walking trails and the horse riding service. We splashed in the rock water and loved to hear the water running near our room. It was a truly serene location and we got to appreciate nature."
"I don't know what you can do to make the Lodge more accessible for low level cars. Those rocks are very rough on the cars."

"We stayed in a family chalet at the bottom of the hill, which had more than enough space for two couples and a child. A small creek ran behind the chalet, perfect for a refreshing morning wade. The restaurant was cozy, with delicious food and beautiful views. This was a special place, and we hope to return someday—and stay a little longer."
