"Staying here is an exceptional experience! Imagine you are in a botanical garden. Tropical animals' voices surround you. You can also hear the ocean especially during night. All this makes you really resting and forgeting urban life. You are back to nature! The ~150m2 villa with large living chamber combined with a kichenette plus 2 bedrooms on its sides guarantees comfortable stay. Bedrooms can be accessed independently and each has own bathroom. Private pool is a cherry on the cake."

"Had a lovely stay at Whispering House. It is a beautiful family run villa in a little slice of forest paradise. The pool and garden was so lovely , surrounded by the sounds of nature and the gardens maintained very well. The villa was clean and spacious. Upul and Chanuka were excellent hosts and the breakfast was very tasty, especially the pancakes and buffalo curd from the local village. Goyambokka beach is 5 min walk away and Silent Beach is also close by. Would be perfect for a family to stay or a couple of families travelling together as there are 2 villas. "We stayed in the older villa which has fabulous views over the gardens and pool. The setting is the star here, and the trees hold monkeys, fruit bats, hornbills….so much to see and hear! The property is only a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants."

"Beautiful place. We have feelings like live in jungle with a lot of animals and birds. Beautiful , comfortable vila with clean swimming pool outside, not far away from Goyambokka beach and restaurants. Manager cooked for us delicious fish and seafood. It was feeling like at home"

"Stunning property. Massive rooms and lovely decoration. Beds were comfy and rooms very clean. The pool area and gardens were stunning with lots of wildlife, including monkeys, peacocks, butterflies etc. Only one other rental 'cottage' so felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast was also excellent, different every day and always so filling that we usually skipped lunch! In a great location, just five minutes walk from Gyonbokka beach. Our most expensive accommodation on our trip but definitely worth it! Owners were friendly and helpful but didn't intrude."
