"This is one of the rare occasions where I can say that there is nothing bad about the place we stayed in. Some people may not like it, and I do believe it is not for everyone, but if you like to have a beautiful garden around you, a lot of dogs and one cat that likes to hop through your opened window unannounced and just meow till you don't pet here til you hand falls off, then this is a perfect place for you!"

"This place is fantastic! For the price it is completely worth it. The family are extremely accommodating and go above and beyond to make your experience in Ella the most enjoyable. With their help, we rented a scooter to see all the major tourist areas ourselves. It also gives you the opportunity to explore more of the remote areas. If you would like to see the sights, the son is happy to help for a very good price and with details that you would know on your own. You MUST have lunch or dinner made by them one day. Their mango chutney and dal was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka yet. The room was spacious with an outside area for you to look at the farm land whilst you read your book. They are happy to make you tea or breakfast if you need it."
