"Really lovely little homestay in Dondet with a restaurant and bar attached looking out to the river. Clean and tidy with spacious rooms! You can rent bikes from the owners too. Breakfast was great also!!"
"It is a little bit of a walk from the main pier in the town (about 15 mins), which can be tiring in the heat with bags, especially if you’ve arrived off a night bus like we did - but not a massive deal!"
"Great views of the Mekong from the balcony. Lovely restaurant for breakfast. An easy walk from the port, and away from the busyness. Loved the hammocks !"

"I stayed at this hotel for five days. It was such a peaceful and beautiful hotel. I had a room right next to and above the river. There was a little terrace with a table, chairs, and a hammock. There was no air conditioning, which was fine given the temperatures I experienced (there were two fans in the room). The room was basic, but lovely. The restaurant was also very good. It was nice to have a place close by to get food and drinks. I also rented a bike for 30k."

"Really lovely bed and bathroom! The views from our balcony were amazing and it was a very peaceful location in Don Det. The staff were also friendly and great in helping hire bikes!"

"Such a stunning setting. The room fits the laidback island style perfectly. AC and shower worked very well which is good. The hotel restaurant is absolutely lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful."
"The room was very nice as I said, but the curtains were white which worked well during the day, however, it wouldn’t give much privacy during the night when the lights were on."

"We were at the bungalow next to the river and because there is no AC the room gets really hot durring the day. And at the final day when we started to leave we found out that there were like a "million" tiny ants that started to make a nest in our bags."
