"The pool was fantastic The atmosphere and views were stunning. The breakfast was nice and varied The drinks in the restaurant were great. We especially enjoyed watching the bats fly above the pool in the evening. The shower facilities were top notch The air conditioning worked well"

"Staff initially informed us we had not pre paid despite the fact we had a receipt to the contrary which unfortunately caused some unnecessary anxiety. The issue was later cleared up. The food in the restaurant was very tasty but the ratio of protein to other was on the low side."

"Great location at entrance to national park, and amazing views from Sunset balcony room. Quiet and reasonably spacious. Good WiFi. Bed was quite hard but they kindly fitted a mattress topper upon request. Front desk were very helpful with any request."

"Food in restaurant was not great - even the local food cuisine - but there are great food options within a walking distance. Monkeys playing one of the pools, and chasing guests away from their ‘spot’ made it difficult to relax in that area, but they’re probably not there all the time. Staff did periodically chase them away."

"Really disappointing food. Breakfast was good but could be better if there was real fruit juice and not just watery stuff, and plenty of real local fruit. But supper was bland and tasteless, again! Extraordinary when the waiting staff make such an effort. The answer is a better chef!"

"I loved absolutely everything about the Veranda Resort. It is located within the forest, and it generally has a very peaceful vibe. The breakfast and dinner are also nice. Rooms are of exceptional quality. Staff are really nice and they helped us book taxis etc. Also Kep in general is a nice stop between Cambodia and Vietnam. This is why the resort offers a good moment of pause."

"I have no negative impressions about the Veranda Resort but if you have mobility issues please keep in my mind that the hotel is located on a hillside - so there are a number stairs or ramps that could be challenging. I visited here with my 70 years old mom and she did perfectly fine."
