"Nice authentic guesthouse with every comfort you need. Friendly owner and really helpfull staff. Had a great local dinner and excellent breakfast. The quiet area with sheep running around makes it even more special. Excellent to discover Hengifoss and surroundings."

"The location in the middle of nowhere is just superb. The gentleman in the reception was really kind and there were 2 lovely doggies to welcome us too! The room was spacious, clean and with some essential stuff in the “kitchen” (kettle, coffee, tea, cups and glasses). The breakfast was really good, in a big dining room with a variety of choices that he cooked himself. Really liked the place! The hotel is only a 5 min. Drive from Hengifoss so don’t miss out!"

"és un lloc de trànsit, petit, però per passar la nit abans d'anar a l'aeroporrt suficient. Té una cuina petita. L'habitació és un altell on les persones de més de 1,70 piquen al sostre, i no hi ha massa espai. Apte per a una nit però no seria per estar-hi dies. A l'espai principal hi ha un sofà llit. Conclusió, un bon lloc de pas però no un apartament on passar dies 4 persones. No hi ha espai per a estar còmode. Bany excel.lent. Situació excel.lent."

"Very cozy and warm inside the bubble. Location was amazing, we got to see the northern lights on our bed. The bed was actually very cozy. Our bubble was located near the main building where the shared bathrooms and kitchen was. But crampons were very helpful if you decide to walk outside in the dark."

"The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!"
