"A quiet gem of a hotel, surprisingly good. Away from the city hassle yet easy to get there. Overall a nice place with tasteful decor. Room spacious, clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast selection. Exceptional food in the restaurant. Swimming pool and spa facilities are top class. Not too busy, at least it wasn't when we were there. We'll be back, it's a place worthy to keep in mind."

"I looked for an accessible room by e-mail after booking. I was allocated one by return e-mail, without any fuss. The room was as requested when I checked in, no confusion as I've experienced elsewhere. Ample free parking in hotel grounds. Staff were friendly & efficient. Bar food was nice & service there was good. Drinks are quite expensive here!"
"I thought €130 for room only in January was quite steep. I paid €88 in Galway city the night before! Plug in heater in my room, which I did need during the night. I fail to see how this makes any economic sense."

"The walk into town is around 10-15 minutes. Some of the older people in our group didn’t want that so you need to plan ahead."
