"The location is in the middle of Uruapan, a block from the main square. Uruapan is a very Mexican working town, without a lot of tourists. It is where avocados from the surrounding agricultural areas are processed and shipped out. There is a wonderful mercado a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is quiet and has a lovely inner courtyard. There is also a little restaurant inside the hotel run by a woman who was raised in rural Michoacán, who serves excellent traditional food. There is parking a block away."

"A ceiling fan would be nice. The room was not hot, but ventilation is always better. Night life in Uruapan is mostly out on the street and in the park. Not a lot of little cafés or places for a glass of wine at night."

"I like the classic style of the hotel and the location! I was appearing at 7 am long before the regular check in time and I was asking for a room and they gave it to me! I really appreciated that a lot 😍 They also offer valet parking, what a great service! 😊"
