"We loved everything about Lou Calen! The owners are fabulous, kind and hospitable. The B&B is quaint, comfortable - what we call ‘brilliant basics’. The views are to die for, it’s so quiet and the swimming poool added a little luxe. It’s so reasonable priced and the perfect based to hope around the surrounding hilltop towns and villages. A slighter older crowd (we’re 30) but it didn’t matter, if anything it had def to the charm. Would stay again."

"Charming staff at the front desk which is in the sister hotel across the road."

"Couldn't get the heating to work well at night. (I'm sure someone would have come to help if I had asked) Wish I had know that this was an annex to the main hotel where the staff and bar/restaurant was."
