"It was an interesting building and the information provided was good. Care had been taken to make it easy to recycle all materials and there were chickens in the garden. We had the whole building to ourselves as we were the only guests and used the self check in as reception closed at midday on our Sunday arrival day. The breakfast was good- a great touch to have a crèpe machine and ready mixed batter. Staff that appeared on Monday morning were very pleasant."

"The outside was shabby and in need of a fair amount of TLC. If I was passing by I would not have chosen to stay there which would have been a pity! There was no lift and the triple room for us and our granddaughter was on the second floor with two double flights of stairs. Fortunately although 80+ we are pretty agile!"

"Location and breakfast are the 2 reasons I keep returning to this hotel. Rooms are clean even though not spacious. Electrical heating is not always easy to turn on. Shower and bathroom outdated with very little amenities This time I was in the attic room. Nice one. Perfect location, walking distance to most facilities on Bethune. Breakfast is great and there are clod and warm options too now. which makes it even better."

"Ideal location and excellent value for money considering the amenities provided. It’s a perfect overnight stop if you’re driving through or heading to the Alps for a ski trip. The breakfast timing and selection were spot on — especially if you want a quick, easy start before getting back on the road."
