"This is a lovely place to stay for anyone who is wanting a break from hotel/hostel life. Rodrigo and his wife are so welcoming and kind. Everything that you need is there (coffee, tea, cold water, a fully equipped kitchen), including information and a laundry service that is great value for money (possibly the best that I have had in my 5 weeks of travelling so far!). The location is perfect for León, I feel lucky to have booked this place."

The room(s), I've been staying in the one facing the street, are well lit and comfortable even for a longer stay, offering privacy and leaving room for some exchange with the owners as well. "I booked for a Night, but i stayed for one week. I really liked it. The best accomodations in Gambia. Very good price! Comfortable, big bed! AC and Van and big TV with netflix... and hot water. A shared kitchen is also there. The village is very authentic and many cute kids around. A few shops and a restaurant about 10min walking. Lamin was always available, friendly and helpful. Very spontanously he took me to the airport, i had some problems and he helped me there with everything and he was waiting the whole time to see if i am fine. Very good man! It was a comfortable, nice, stressfree ending of my travel there. Thank you so so much :D"

Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.

"Great property in a very quiet location, though still close to the restaurants. Francis has taken personal care of us. House is lovely, clean, kitchen is well equiped. We took tour with Francis as well, both were wonderfull. You can spend your time at the beach and will be there alone most of the time, since the property is small (pls note that swimming is not recommend, as pretty much everywhere on this island). We have very much enjoyed our vacation there."

"Everything was amazing, from each and every point of view. It's the type of accommodation you'd chose again and again. Josie is the best host someone could ask for - she is very attentive to the guests and always prepared to help or to recommend places for maximising the experience of tourists. The place overall and the room were not only super clean and comfortable (I literally slept like a baby, haha), but equipped with all the necessary things for a great stay. Plus, the way the room was designed... the combination between visual art and practicality is awesome! Highly recommend! Thank you so, so much, Josie!"

"There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

It would have been great to have had a fridge in the room

"We enjoyed our stay at Tequila Sunrise. Timmi, the owner, is quite friendly and helpful. Her house is colorful and stands out in the neighborhood. The room seems very new. It is spotlessly clean, large, and includes a complete kitchen. It has all the appliances you could possibly use. There is a very large bottle of drinking water so you will never be thirsty. The air conditioning is strong and the TV has many channels. I would recommend this this lodging to anyone staying in Antigua."

"We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."
