Nestled between the Moors and the North Sea, Saltmoore is a luxurious, wellness-led retreat offering two distinct places to stay: Saltmoore House and The Beach House. Saltmoore House features our most balneari urbàcious rooms and houses our serene hammam i sauna, The Sanctuary at Saltmoore, while The Beach House offers a relaxed, coastal feel with a mix of family and dog-friendly rooms. Each room has been carefully designed with reposanting interiors, plush beds and thoughtful touches to help you unwind. The Beach House is located approximately 300 yards along the drive from Saltmoore House and a leisurely stroll between buildings will take around five minutes. Guests can enjoy seasonal menus across three univers culinaris, from refined Brasserie dishes to handcrafted sourdough pizzas. Espai Balneari treatments, thermal experiences and a state-of-the-art gym are also available at The Sanctuary at Saltmoore. Please note: Centre De Benestar access is charged additionally and not included in the room rate. Should you wish to use the facilities whilst visiting Saltmoore, a fee of £45.00 per person for 2 hours' usage will be required. Children’s splash times are from 7:00–9:00am and 5:00–6:00pm daily. Not all rooms are dog friendly, so please check availability before booking. A pet fee of £25.00 per pet, per night will apply. Saltmoore is perfectly placed for both rest and adventure, with Sandsend Beach and the historic town of Whitby just moments away.

"The location is excellent. The staff generally were really friendly and the room was really comfortable."
"The breakfast on the first day was disappointing. The buffet area is reasonably well stocked although the bread selection seemed to fall below expectations. On the first day two of our party ordered smoke salmon,eggs and sourdough toast. There was no toast available so we were told we would receive crumpets as a replacement. When the breakfast arrived it did so on one cold under done crumpet with a small amount of salmon and one small egg. I raised the issue with the staff and they did offer an alternative but by that time there was no point. Secondly the booking system for day beds in the spa area seems restrictive. It appears a first come first serve basis would work better."

"I object to paying for the use of the Spa, especially if you just want a quick swim. There was no Greek yogurt/yogurt or muesli for breakfast. Although the food in the restaurant was delicious, both the food and drinks are very overpriced."
